The VBR-B 7.92 PDW/CQBW as answer to the future?

The VBR-7.92 PDW/CQBW is developed as result of a Mirror Image Training during a counter terrorism research session. In the past CRISAT and a lot of other types of body armor are based o high performance fibers like Kevlar. Supper-strong body armor is already in sight and a lot of Armor Piercing bullet will fail on the carbon nanotubes fibers. With the same bullet technology, the PDW calibers 4.6x30 and 5.7x28 dispose about an energy level around the 450 Joules which will be on the low side to penetrate this future type of carbon based body armor. The energy level of the VBR-B 7.92 caliber goes to around the 630 Joule. This means that the 7.92 x 24 mm caliber is in a better position to penetrate the future types of carbon based body armor.
